Hello Bison fans,

This week we welcome the reigning league champions Swindon Wildcats, to the Basingstoke Arena for the latest National League game.

Wildcats currently occupy 4th in the standings, 5 wins, 2 shootout losses, and 1 loss in regulation, giving them 12pts from 8 games.

A significant factor in the Wildcats success last season was the consistency on the playing side.

The most notable change for this season, has been Aaron Nell retiring from a distinguished playing career at the end of last season, taking on the role of General Manager and Head Coach in Swindon.

Home games this season have seen crowds consistently close to capacity.

Saturday's game is already looking to be another busy night, understandably with a high quality thriller in prospect.

Swindon usually travel with a sizeable number of fans, therefore the advice is, if you haven’t already secured your place, don’t delay in purchasing your ticket.

Our Barn has been absolutely rocking on game nights, the Wall of Sound has been in outstanding form all season, creating the kind of atmosphere which makes for a cracking night of hockey.

Ones to watch:

Basingstoke Bison: Adam Harding (4)

Adam is in the 2nd season of his 2nd spell with the Bison, having previously made just over 100 appearances for us between 2019 and 2022 after joining the Herd from Swindon mid-way through the 2018/19 season.

Since re-signing with the Bison for our return last season, Adam has made 70 appearances, scored 29 goals with 21 assists.

He brings a wealth of experience to the Bison roster, with over 600 senior games across the Elite League and National League.

Swindon Wildcats: Glenn Billing (72)

British forward Billing, is in his 4th season with the Link Centre team.
So far this season in 8 league appearances, he has netted 2 goals and provided 4 assists.

With an high hockey IQ he has an eye for a smart pass, Billing is a key figure in the Wildcats attack.
