JOIN OUR STREAM TEAM – BASINGSTOKE BISON ARE HIRING A VOLUNTEER STREAM TECHNICIAN! 




Are you a passionate hockey fan with a love for live sports broadcasting? Do you want to be part of the Basingstoke Bison game-day experience and help bring the action to fans at home? We’re looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our volunteer stream team as a Stream Technician for the 2025/26 season. 




Available Roles 




STREAM TECHNICIAN 




As a Stream Technician, you’ll play a key role behind the scenes, helping deliver high-quality live streams of every home game. Working closely with a Stream Producer, you’ll be responsible for managing our vMix production system, setting up equipment, and ensuring a professional and engaging broadcast for Bison fans watching from afar. 




You’ll be part of a dedicated game-night team that includes camera operators, commentators, and other volunteers, all working together to capture the excitement of Bison hockey. 




STREAM PRODUCER 




As the Stream Producer, you’ll be responsible for running the output for the stream on game night using vMix software and will be collaborating with the Stream technician to ensure we deliver high-quality live streams. You’ll be part of a dedicated game-night team that includes camera operator, commentator, and other volunteers, all working together to capture the excitement of Bison hockey. 




Key Responsibilities:


-Operate vMix to run live broadcasts


-Assist with setting up cameras and streaming equipment


-Manage on-screen graphics, scoreboards, and sponsored content


-Monitor stream quality and troubleshoot technical issues


-Collaborate with the team and other team members to ensure smooth production 






What We’re Looking For:


-A dependable individual who can commit to home game nights


-A team player with good communication skills


-Passion for ice hockey and live sports broadcasting


-Some technical knowledge of streaming (vMix experience is a plus!)


-Ability to stay calm and responsive during live events
