After waiting 941 days for a home game, much like London buses, a second appears shortly after the first, as the Milton Keynes Lightning arrive at the Basingstoke Arena on Saturday 1st November, for a National League fixture. Face off is scheduled for 6.30 pm.

Fans who turned out in fantastic numbers to give the team such amazing support last weekend, you will be required to pack the rink once again and provide that same level of backing, as the Lightning will undoubtedly be accompanied by a large number of their fans.

MKL, along with Swindon Wildcats and Leeds Knights, are looked upon as league title contenders.  Among a quality roster, they currently have 3 faces familiar to fans of the Herd. Josh Kelly, Sean Norris and Elliot Lewis each made appearances for the Bison between 2019 and 2023.

For the Bison, this will be another tough challenge, but one that Coach Flanagan and the players will relish as they continue to re-establish the Herd in the National Ice Hockey League.

Fans of the Herd, aka the Wall of Sound, every one of you has a part to play, be loud and proud, visit the merchandise stand, buy your 50/50, Shirt off the Back tickets or Chuck-a-Puck entries.

For those of you who cannot make it to the game, remember, the Bison Live Stream will be available.
