The Basingstoke Bison were thrilled to welcome fans back to ice hockey with their 2025/26 Season Launch Event at the Spruce Goose Beefeater on Saturday 30th August. After more than two years away, it was the perfect opportunity for supporters to meet the new-look squad and kick off the new season in style.


Fans turned out to meet the team, grab selfies, chat with players, and collect their pre-ordered jerseys and season ticket cards. Merchandise including hoodies, t-shirts, and the official 2025/26 jerseys was also available, while food and drinks kept everyone fuelled for the afternoon.


The event marked more than just a launch, it was the start of an exciting new era for Basingstoke ice hockey. The energy, enthusiasm, and passion of Bison fans made the day truly special, and the club would like to thank everyone who came along to make it such a memorable occasion.


With the first pre-season games just around the corner, fans are encouraged to get their tickets and continue the celebrations as the Herd returns to the ice.
