The Basingstoke Bison are thrilled to announce that our #4, forward Adam Harding, has re-signed with the club for the 2026/27 PINIHL season.


The experienced Welsh forward returned to Basingstoke ahead of the 2025/26 campaign and quickly re-established himself as a key figure within the Herd, both on and off the ice. Wearing #4 once again, Harding brought leadership, consistency and a wealth of experience to the Bison lineup throughout the season.  


Harding had an impressive campaign representing the Bison badge last season, recording 18 goals and 17 assists in 52 appearances, finishing amongst the team’s top point scorers and turning up in the critical moments for the team.


A familiar face to Bison fans, Harding previously spent four seasons with the club between 2018 and 2022, serving as an alternate captain during his earlier spell in Basingstoke. His return last summer proved to be an important addition to the squad, with the veteran forward continuing to demonstrate the skill, work ethic and leadership qualities.


Across an extensive senior career spanning more than two decades, Harding has amassed over 900 appearances in British hockey, icing for clubs including the Cardiff Devils, Manchester Storm, Dundee Stars, Swindon Wildcats and Telford Tigers. Adam also experienced international appearances for Great Britain at U18 and U20 level.

“Adam brings so much to this team both on and off the ice. His experience is invaluable on the front line; he leads by example every night, and he’s somebody the younger players can learn a huge amount from. He had a really strong season for us last year and we’re delighted to have him back for 2026/27.”
