A Look Ahead Of Tonights Game

Followed on Sunday afternoon by a visit from the current league champions, as we welcome the Leeds Knights on their return to the Silverdome arena.  Face-off on Sunday is at the earlier time of 4.15pm.

The Herd will bring the momentum of a four-game unbeaten home run onto the ice this Sunday.

Last Saturdays win against Telford Tigers showed a level of determination the team has added to its armoury, coming from a goal down to claim victory inside the final minutes of the 3rd period, when overtime seemed the likely outcome.

As the clock ticked down, the Wall of Sound got to work, increasing the energy for the boys on the ice, ultimately resulting in Alex Sampford netting the game winning goal at 58.51, the volume this goal triggered certainly put the rinks recent re-furbishment to the test.

The two teams had met earlier this month, when the Bison stunned Leeds in their own rink with a dramatic overtime victory thanks to a Will Stead goal.

No doubt our opponents will be looking to overturn that result and take the points back to Yorkshire.

But this Bison side has found its confidence at home and the atmosphere inside The Barn has become a major weapon. The Herd will look to use that as they go head-to-head with one of the league’s elite.
